On 3rd of October 2017, at the University of Georgia, European Union Studies Association (EUSA) organized a public lecture by Mr. Giorgi Pareshishvili, Deputy Director of NATO and EU Information Center.
The discussion was held with the university students and professors about the results, achievements and challenges in the EU-Georgia relations, as well as about the myths and disinformation often disseminated by the anti-western and anti-European discourses and propaganda.
The meeting was opened by Ms. Natia Kaladze, Director of the School of Social Sciences of the University of Georgia. Dr. Tamar Khuntsaria briefed the participants about European Union Studies Association (EUSA) and spoke on the goals and objectives of the Jean Monnet project.
The lecture was held in the framework of the EU’s Erasmus + Jean Monnet project “Disseminating Knowledge on EU-Georgian Association Agreement among Academic Communities in Georgia”.
