Public lecture by Archil Karaulashvili, First Deputy State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration: Georgia’s European Integration – Achievements and Future Perspectives

On 20th of April 2017, at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, European Union Studies Association (EUSA) organized a public lecture by Archil Karaulashvili, First Deputy State Minister of Georgia on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.
The Deputy State Minister spoke with students and academics about Georgia’s European integration achievements and future perspectives.  
The event was held in the framework of Erasmus + Programme Jean Monnet Support to Associations.
The meeting was opened by Giorgi Sharvashidze, Rector of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University. Also, Professor Gaga Gabrichidze briefed the participants about European Union Studies Association (EUSA) and Dr. Tamar Khuntsaria, spoke on the goals and objectives of the Jean Monnet project “Disseminating Knowledge on EU-Georgian Association Agreement among Academic Communities in Georgia”.
The meeting concluded by Q&A and discussion with students on the EU-Georgia Association Agenda, trade and economic relations with EU and visa liberalization perspectives.
