Jean Monnet Public Lecture on European Integration was held at the Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University

On 12 April 2019, European Union Studies Association (EUSA) organized an open lecture about EU-Georgia cooperation and Georgia’s European integration process at Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University.

The lecture, and the following discussion was attended by over 30 students of legal studies – those interested in Georgia’s European integration, including legal approximation process, and those who plan to continue their professional carrier in the field of EU.

The main objective of the seminars was to provide students with updated information about the EU-Georgia relations. In the Q&A and discussion format, seminar overviewed the existing programs and agreements with the EU, which helps and bolsters the social, economic and democratic life in Georgia.

The lecture-seminar was delivered by EUSA expert, Dr. Gvantsa Davitashvili.

The lectures were held in the framework of the EU’s Erasmus + Jean Monnet project “Disseminating Knowledge on EU-Georgian Association Agreement among Academic Communities in Georgia”.
